      Utilita Callout Process

      GO TO PRINTABLE FILES IN DROPBOX

      1. Receive a call from Utilita

      2. Identify:  technician, the priority of the call, confirm the generator size, cable size, length and the connection.

      3. Get a W/O plus the address of the call out.
        *If there are any site access issues – take note of the time of the call

      4. If the green generators are required - collect them and deliver to site (If you have the ability, and it’s safe to do so).
        If unable for whatever reason - call Border Towing (07) 3807 3377 or Colpak Logistics (1300 265 725) – they will have their after-hours tow trucks fitted with pintail hooks so they can respond.
        *Please confirm drivers phone number and ensure the tow truck is fitted with pintail hook attachment if required

      5. Get them to call you when they have picked up the trailers and when they have dropped them off 
        *Take note of the time

      6. If a generator is required - review available fleet list and choose the generator in that frame size or bigger along with the cable set to match.

      7. Call Border Towing/Colpak Logistics. Give them the pick-up and drop-off address, and then get to the branch to load the truck.


        Once job is complete:

      8. Send email and brief job description to Kyle Alberts Kyle.alberts@vikingindustrial.com.au and Connor Stillman connor.stillman@vikingindustrial.com.au

        Include: The W/O, start time and finish time (finish time is after you write the email), equipment used and freight company engaged so that he can raise a PO and retrieve relevant invoice for on charging.
      9. Complete Checkrite onsite (first thing the following morning if unable to complete that night).
        Include hours worked.
        *If a freight charge applies add it in the parts section and if after hours make sure to include after-hours call out fee.

      NOTES

      Take notes regarding the following:
      - The time you are called
      - The time that the machines are delivered
      - The time they are picked up
      *We charge until the generator either leaves site or we are back at home. Outside hours we also charge a call out fee.

      Keep an extra pintel hook in the green generator trailers.

      Make sets of cables for Utilita only.

      If you are on-call - position a standby set with cables inside so you don’t have to come in if you don’t want.
